About the role

Derry Animal Hospital is seeking an innovative and empathetic Part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their exceptional team. The practice is committed to delivering compassionate, individualized care for every pet, every time, and operates in a supportive environment with a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to patients under the supervision of licensed veterinarians.
• Perform routine check-ups, vaccinations, and other preventative healthcare measures.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Participate in surgical procedures as needed, under the guidance of licensed veterinarians.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide education and support regarding their pet's care.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of patient care and facility operations.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New Hampshire.
• Experience in general veterinary practices preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate the needs of the practice.
