About the role
Alexander Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join our dynamic team. Located in Castroville, TX, we offer a unique blend of small-town charm and urban conveniences, including easy access to San Antonio's vibrant offerings.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of a busy, well-paced general practice caseload
- Performing surgeries, dental procedures, and other advanced medical treatments
- Collaborating with a skilled support staff including technicians and customer service representatives
- Providing excellent client education and maintaining strong client relationships
- Participating in ongoing professional development through customized continuing education programs
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
- A current Texas veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in a mixed animal practice
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about client education and building long-term relationships

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and production
