Responsibilities

• Read and write English, interact with general public and co-workers
• Interpret product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos
• Write simple correspondence
• Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds
• Operate a cash register, receive payment from customers, make change or process check/charge/debit transactions
• Process cash and/or credit refunds, verify customer eligibility for selling alcoholic beverages, offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance, load customer purchases by assisting customers to their vehicles
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos
• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred)
