About the role
This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent. The Assistant Property Manager, Self-Storage will assist with ensuring the property meets or exceeds expectations of owners, tenants, vendors, and customers. They will maintain open communication with the manager, inspect the property as needed, and assist in generating and increasing income.
Responsibilities
- Aid in maintaining the property to meet or exceed owner, tenant, vendor, and customer expectations.
- Maintain open communication with the manager to keep them informed of any property issues.
- Inspect the property as scheduled.
- Aid in generating and increasing monthly and annual income.
- Complete outreach marketing and coordinate a plan with the site manager to maximize effectiveness of visits, calls, emails, etc.
- Aid in developing a marketing action plan with strategies to meet or exceed budgeted income, occupancy, expense, and leasing goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year office or sales experience preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a strong orientation for customer service.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, organizational skills and other administrative capabilities.
- Ability to adapt to a demanding environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- SiteLink knowledge is a plus.
- Flexibility to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must possess the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Self-motivated and willing to work independently with the ability to adhere to strict timelines and schedules, often with competing deadlines.
- Valid Drivers License required.
