About the Role

Join us as an Assistant Manager at Prime Storage Group, where you'll be at the heart of our self-storage facilities. This dynamic role involves customer interactions, sales, and property maintenance to craft exceptional customer relationships and elevate service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Rent out self-storage units, parking spaces, and related products
  • Convert telephone and walk-in inquiries into rentals
  • Maintain accounts receivables through collections, payment posting, and processing
  • Deliver daily bank deposits accurately and timely
  • Upsell moving products and assist in unit sizing decisions
  • Greet customers promptly, enthusiastically, and professionally
  • Understand and sell the features and benefits of the property
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure company standards of cleanliness and appearance are met
  • Inspect the property, including performing lock checks
  • Perform routine maintenance duties such as walking the property, maintaining cleanliness, weeding, operating power tools, and changing light bulbs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Technically savvy with the ability to learn new applications and Point of Sale systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Outlook
  • Physically able to perform routine maintenance duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Availability for travel and flexibility to work at various locations

Pay

USD $20.00 - USD $22.00 per hour
