About the Role
Join us as an Assistant Manager at Prime Storage Group, where you'll be at the heart of our self-storage facilities. This dynamic role involves customer interactions, sales, and property maintenance to craft exceptional customer relationships and elevate service standards.
Responsibilities
- Rent out self-storage units, parking spaces, and related products
- Convert telephone and walk-in inquiries into rentals
- Maintain accounts receivables through collections, payment posting, and processing
- Deliver daily bank deposits accurately and timely
- Upsell moving products and assist in unit sizing decisions
- Greet customers promptly, enthusiastically, and professionally
- Understand and sell the features and benefits of the property
- Resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner
- Ensure company standards of cleanliness and appearance are met
- Inspect the property, including performing lock checks
- Perform routine maintenance duties such as walking the property, maintaining cleanliness, weeding, operating power tools, and changing light bulbs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Technically savvy with the ability to learn new applications and Point of Sale systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Outlook
- Physically able to perform routine maintenance duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Possession of a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- Availability for travel and flexibility to work at various locations
