About the role
We’re looking for a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 who can lead our store and drive sales. This position supports the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and developing a team.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales plan and/or comp sales goals
- Help recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team
- Create buzz and customer engagement through promotion of new products, use social media platforms, and additional benefits such as BOPIS and curbside pickup
- Provide leadership around operational soundness, balancing ops, delegation, and customer-first selling practices
- Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules
- Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
- Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy towards hitting sales targets
- Mercandise the store in a compelling way, leveraging planograms, and launch all promos on time
- Develop a team of high-performing, customer-focused associates
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
- Skills in communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising), and team development
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Able to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
