Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 2

About the role

We’re looking for a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 who can lead the store and drive sales. This position supports the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and developing a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales plan and/or comp sales goals
• Help recruit, develop, and retain a team to run the store
• Create buzz and engage customers through promotions, social media, and benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Lead the store’s operations, balancing autonomy, customer-first practices, and operational excellence
• Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategies to hit sales targets
• Mercandise the store in a compelling way, using planograms and launching promotions on time
• Develop a team of high-performing, customer-focused associates

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
• Experience leading teams to success, including communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising), and team development
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent, with a degree being a plus
• The ability to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
