Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 2

About the role

We’re looking for a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 who can lead the store and drive sales. This role supports the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and developing a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales plan and/or comp sales goals
• Help recruit, develop, and retain a team to run the store
• Create buzz and engage customers through promotions, social media, and benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Lead operations, balancing autonomy, customer-first practices, and loss prevention
• Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and schedules
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategies
• Mercantilize the store using planograms and launch promotions on time
• Develop a high-performing, customer-focused team in partnership with the Store Manager

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
• Leadership skills including communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising), and team development
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
