About the role
BoxLunch is a pop culture-driven retailer dedicated to eliminating hunger through charitable donations. This role supports the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and developing a team.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales plan and/or comp sales goals
- Recruit, develop, and retain a passionate team
- Create buzz and engage customers through promotions, social media, and additional benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
- Lead operations, balancing autonomy, customer-first selling, and loss prevention
- Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
- Run sales reports and use data to guide strategies
- Messure and merchandise the store, launching promotions on time
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
- Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
- Leadership skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development
- Avenger-like skills: communication, time management, professionalism, and drive to develop team members
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; a degree is preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
