About the role

BoxLunch is a pop culture-driven retailer dedicated to eliminating hunger through charitable donations. This role supports the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and developing a team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales plan and/or comp sales goals
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a passionate team
  • Create buzz and engage customers through promotions, social media, and additional benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
  • Lead operations, balancing autonomy, customer-first selling, and loss prevention
  • Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
  • Run sales reports and use data to guide strategies
  • Messure and merchandise the store, launching promotions on time

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
  • Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
  • Leadership skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development
  • Avenger-like skills: communication, time management, professionalism, and drive to develop team members
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; a degree is preferred
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
