About the role
The Assistant Store Manager/Service Writer is responsible for promoting and selling all products and services, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting daily store operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally in person and by phone, documenting concerns and inspecting vehicles to identify service needs.
- Recommend appropriate services, clearly communicate additional recommendations from technicians, and document all suggestions.
- Promote product and service sales by demonstrating product knowledge and understanding customer needs.
- Provide accurate quotes, update customers on service progress, and ensure proper checkout procedures, including explaining warranties.
- Conduct follow-up calls post-repair to ensure customer satisfaction and track returns, core returns, and warranty parts.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful but not required.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
