About the role

The Art teacher will be responsible for teaching Art to Kindergarten - 8th grade students. Specific assignments for additional time will be determined based on school needs and candidates' strengths.

Responsibilities

• Teach Art to Kindergarten - 8th grade students
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents
• Implement creative new ideas
• Work with students of varying ability levels

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Education or similar field (Master's preferred)
• Understanding and genuine appreciation of children
• Desire to work in a racially and economically diverse, faith-centered community
• Ability to utilize educational technology in the classroom
• Active Catholic with a current Washington (or out of state) teaching certificate (or the ability to obtain one) with a (preferably) K-5 (minimum) endorsement
