Part-Time Art Instructor – North Scottsdale, AZ

About the role

We are currently accepting applications to fill our Part Time Art Instructor position. We are looking for a certified art teacher with a minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience to lead some of our camps this summer and take on classes for our school year curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Lead core classes capped at 13 students per class
• Teach a full, structured curriculum provided by the school
• Assist in recruiting new students
• Work two weeknights and Saturdays
• Fill in for planned absences or emergencies
• Help cover summer camps, special events, open houses, and birthday parties

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or a BFA
• Minimum of 5 years of in-classroom teaching experience
• Curriculum delivery experience
• Strong classroom management skills
• Arizona Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card and background check required

Benefits

The position offers a W-2 and all supplies are provided.

$26–$34/hour (based on experience)
