Part Time Armed Security Officer

Position Overview

IronRock Security is seeking an Overnight Armed Security Officer to oversee access control at a higher education center in Lakewood, NJ. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of armed security experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor access control points
• Conduct regular patrols of the residential property
• Write clear incident and daily activity reports
• Support scheduling coordination and communicate staffing needs
• Maintain a professional and customer-friendly presence
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriately

Requirements

• Previous Armed security experience required
• 3+ years of law enforcement and/or armed security experience
• Access control experience required
• Armed SORA License & CCW or RPO
• Valid driver's license (required for periodic mobile patrols)
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Compensation & Benefits

• $26-30/hour
• Full-Time & Part-time opportunities available
