Part-time Area Enumerator - Minnesota

About the role

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is seeking dependable individuals to collect agricultural information from farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses. No prior experience required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with agricultural producers by phone and in person.
• Collect accurate information about crops, livestock, and farming operations.
• Conduct crop counts and observe crop conditions in designated corn and soybean fields.
• Enter information accurately using a company-provided electronic device.
• Track work hours, mileage, and completed assignments.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow NASDA data-security policies.
• Communicate professionally with producers and community members.

Requirements

• A private workspace with a functional telephone.
• A reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to travel up to 250 miles quarterly for training, as needed.
• Ability to use computers and electronic devices.
• Must pass a background check.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Paid training provided.
• Agriculture or sales experience is helpful but not required.
