Part-Time Announcer

PART-TIME ANNOUNCER Are you an experienced broadcaster or have you ever dreamed of being behind the microphone? Midwest Communications, Inc. in Lansing, Michigan has a part-time opening that may be perfect for you. This role includes regular air shifts, working live events, opportunities to learn new skills in audio/video production, and digital content creation. You'll enjoy a supportive team, and the energy and excitement of creating entertaining content in Michigan's Capital City! **This is an in-person role. Voice tracking is not an option** Responsibilities Host or assist with live radio broadcastsPrepare for on-air shows with research and contentRecord commercials, promos, and station announcementsEngage listeners with energy, personality, and professionalismAssist with station events and promotions as neededLearn the day-to-day operations of a successful radio station Qualifications Strong, clear, and engaging voice with excellent articulation and pronunciation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both on and off-air.Ability to work flexible hours, including weeknights and weekends.Familiarity with broadcast equipment and audio production is a plus.High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in broadcasting, journalism, or communications preferred.A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required for this position.
