Part-time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering
About the role
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering for the academic year 2026-2027. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities include one or more undergraduate or graduate courses in Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering areas such as Mechatronics Engineering Fundamentals and Modeling & Feedback Control. Undergraduate courses are face-to-face or partially online and taught both during the day and in the evening. Graduate courses are hybrid, with both online and in-person students.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Requirements
- To teach undergraduate courses:
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Robotics or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
- To teach graduate courses:
- A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Robotics or a related discipline is required at the time of hire.
