Responsibilities

• Perform functions in variable weather and environmental conditions, including jet engine fumes, vehicle emissions, dust, and jet engine noise.
• Load and unload aircraft cargo weighing up to 70 lbs. in confined cargo areas.
• Push, pull, and position loaded containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs. on rollers to/from aircraft.
• Read "off-load" sheets to determine the destination of cargo.
• Transfer cargo where required; receive, deliver, and physically handle freight and company material at designated express docks.
• Complete forms and messages related to cargo handling.
• Transport furnishings and supplies to and from aircraft.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and racking both filled and empty drums.
• Monitor security of the facility, comply with WFS site security procedures, and report security breaches or suspicious occurrences.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to successfully communicate with others.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), holidays, and days off.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Ability to work in a high-noise level environment.
• Pull, push, and lift bags weighing up to 70 lbs. onto or from a conveyor belt.
