Part-Time Agronomy General Laborer - Ag View FS - Lanark, IL

Purpose and Summary Statement

The purpose for this position is to assist the agronomy team with day-to-day operations including equipment preparation, product handling, and plant support tasks.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist in filling NH3 tanks
• Help transfer and deliver products between locations
• Support equipment set-up and field operations
• Aid in maintaining operations and equipment at location
• Provide excellent customer service
• Work with location manager on all safety and compliance issues
• Assist operators and drivers as needed

Other Job Functions

• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical or farm experience preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Frequent lifting of 51-70 lbs as needed
• Frequent exposure to extreme weather conditions and working conditions with potential hazards
• Ability to work outside normal hours to meet seasonal demands
