About Us

We are a family of four—Mom, Dad, a 17-year-old daughter, and a 9-year-old son. We love traveling, spending time together, and making family time a priority. Our evenings often include playing games, and we enjoy a home environment filled with humor, laughter, and plenty of joking around. Our kids are active in sports and other activities, and we incorporate movement into our daily routine. We are easygoing, value kindness and respect, and strive to build a positive, long-term relationship with our nanny, treating them as an important part of our family.

About You

We are looking for a mature, organized, and dependable caregiver who is punctual, communicative, and takes initiative. Our ideal candidate will be a positive role model for our children, with a strong preference for someone experienced in tutoring STEM subjects. At least two years of experience working with older children is preferred. You should be tenacious, engaged, and committed to providing thoughtful, high-quality support. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee after-school routines, including snack preparation, homework, reading, and workbook assignments, with an emphasis on reviewing work and providing feedback.
• Coordinate with the children’s STEM, French, and other tutors.
• Manage the family calendar and activity paperwork.
• Communicate regularly with parents and tutors.
• Transport children to sports, activities, appointments, tutoring, and other commitments.
• Handle library trips and book checkouts.
• Plan each afternoon to ensure punctuality and organization.
• Provide weekly updates to parents.
• Plan a monthly one-on-one outing with each child.

Qualifications

• Reliable, intuitive, organized, and a great communicator.
• Previous experience with school-age children.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Set yourself apart: Experience tutoring in STEM or knowledge of (or willingness to learn) French.

Schedule

Starting ASAP, Monday–Thursday from 3:15–6:45 PM. The position ends at the end of the school year but may continue into the summer for the right fit.

Pay

$25+ per hour, depending on experience.
