Part-time Advanced Practice Nurse
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the role of the Part-Time Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) is to assess and evaluate patient primary and behavioral healthcare needs and provide treatment onsite throughout the community at designated clinic site locations. Based on clinical findings, the APN will provide medical treatment and schedule follow-up care or referral for specialty care, as needed. The APN will serve as the primary care provider for all patients admitted to service. To maintain round-the-clock continuity of care, the APN will assume a leadership role in the implementation of the telehealth technology that will be used to capture and store biometric clinical data, for transmission via mobile devices to the handheld, tablet, or laptop devices of the Project Team clinicians.
Essential Functions
- Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical examinations for behavioral health and primary care disorders.
- Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs.
- Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
- Implements interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability.
- Maintains the continuity of care after hours and on weekends.
- Documents all clinical findings with appropriate follow up and referral.
- Adhere to the daily clinical operations of the project.
- Maintain national and state board certifications.
- Attend regular staff meetings, training, off-site healthcare events, and other meetings as requested.

Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an earned Master of Science in nursing degree.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Certification and Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Hold and maintain current national and state board certification as a nurse practitioner from approved organization (American Nurses Credentialing Center, American Academy of Nurse Practitioner, National Certification Corporation for Obstetrics, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialty).
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and PALS (preferred).
- Recent experience in an advanced practice nurse role.
Competencies/Technical/Functional Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe and Peoplesoft.
- Knowledge of office policies and procedures, and strong organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with diverse individuals; proven ability to communicate professionally.

Location
Onsite at designated clinic site locations.
Travel
Up to 75% travel to ensure clinical practice consistency across all clinic locations.
Pay
Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency.
