Essential Job Functions
- Recruit, orient, and register new students.
- Assess student skill level and enroll in appropriate courses.
- Provide retention and follow-up of current and former students.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to provide support services as needed for identified students: career assessment, mentoring, advising, and linkages to other resources.
- Track student acquisition of support services.
- Assist with tracking and reporting of student progress toward goal completion and highlighting student success stories.
- Maintain accurate and complete student records.
Minimum Requirements
- A Master’s degree in a related field and two (2) years of experience; OR
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three (3) years of experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Experience working with adult learners and non-traditional students.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including speaking in front of large and small groups, ability to listen effectively and respond accordingly.
- Demonstrated competence working with a diverse population.
