Part-Time 50/50 Game Day Raffle Seller

General Description: The Houston Rockets are seeking an energetic, driven, and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time 50/50 Game Day Raffle Seller. This role focuses on driving raffle sales during home games at the Toyota Center, engaging with fans, promoting the 50/50 raffle, and supporting the Rockets' charitable initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Actively sell, handle, and distribute 50/50 raffle tickets at a stationary kiosk or as a roaming sales representative during and prior to Rockets games.
• Engage Rockets guests regarding the 50/50 Raffle and the Clutch City Foundation in a dynamic environment.
• Accurately reconcile sales with cash receipts.
• Meet and exceed established sales goals.
• Serve as a Rockets ambassador, generating fan excitement about purchasing raffle tickets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer relations skills with the ability to engage a large fan base.
• Strong listening skills, professional attitude, and enthusiasm.
• Cash handling experience and ability to manage cash transactions.
• Motivated to reach or exceed sales goals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Authentic enthusiasm for community involvement in sports and entertainment.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability for Rockets home games from October through April, with possible postseason playoff games.
• Ability to work approximately 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM on game days (subject to change).

Physical Demands

• Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb up and down stairs multiple times during shift.

Schedule

• Part-time, game-day role with hours approximately 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM on Rockets home game days (subject to change).
• Must be available for all home games from October through April, including potential postseason playoff games.
