The Red Lion Area School District is currently searching for a part-time (5.5 hours/day) Special Education Teaching Assistant, Autistic Support at Red Lion Area Junior High School.

About the role

Support students with autism in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with daily activities
• Provide behavioral support
• Participate in team meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Current Pennsylvania Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Experience working with students with autism

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Pass a background check
