About the role

Provide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process
Develop a positive working relationship with the teacher and students
Model professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers, and community
Model spiritual maturity in leading students towards Christ and then spiritual growth
Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment
Accompany class to specials and assist special teacher as needed
Help students as directed by the teacher or as you see a need
Help students at arrival and dismissal to ensure they are following the procedures
Assume some of lead teacher’s main responsibilities according to need
Help students with emotional regulation as needed

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Prior experience working with children preferred

Hours

Part-time 2-3 days per week
8am-3pm

Pay

This position has an hourly range of $17.00 - $27.00.
An employee’s pay within the hourly range will be based on many factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
