Part-Time 2nd Shift Caregiver

About the Role

The Caregiver supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. The role encourages resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Promote socialization, cognitive engagement, and physical health.
• Encourage independence and respect resident choices.
• Maintain a neat, clean appearance and professional demeanor.
• Participate in designated facility in‑services.
• Help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting to appropriate personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior direct care experience (preferred).
• High school diploma or GED.
• CBRF certifications preferred: Standard Precautions, First Aid, & Fire Safety.
• Current CPR certification (preferred).
• Meets age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.

Schedule

Part‑Time, 2nd Shift (3 PM – 11 PM) with rotating weekends.
