About the role

AutoZone’s Store Management team drives store performance, fosters a productive team, and ensures exceptional customer service. As a Parts Sales Manager you will play a key role in driving sales performance, fostering a high‑performing team, and delivering the “WOW!” customer experience. You will work under the Store Manager’s guidance, leading by example, demonstrating initiative and strong leadership while supporting AutoZone’s mission of providing trusted automotive solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership – Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing high‑performing employees, fostering a motivated and engaged team.
  • Communication – Maintain clear, effective interactions with both customers and employees to ensure smooth store operations and positive experiences.
  • Metrics Mindedness – Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards to drive business success.
  • Process Orientation – Follow structured store procedures, manage inventory, oversee cash handling, control shrink, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Teamwork – Collaborate with store staff and commercial department leaders to maintain seamless operations and customer service excellence.
  • Parts Sales & Inventory Management – Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely returns processing and merchandising.
  • Safety & Compliance – Enforce PPE use, promote risk‑management practices, and uphold company safety standards.
  • Commercial Account Support – Assist in managing commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.
  • Problem Solving – Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues swiftly while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

  • Leadership – Demonstrates integrity, decision‑making skills, and strong leadership abilities.
  • Flexible Schedule – Availability for full‑time work with mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Exceptional Communication – Strong people skills and effective bilingual communication in Spanish and English.
  • Automotive Retail Experience – Prior experience in automotive retail environments.
  • Certifications – Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Schedule

Full‑time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
