PART/FULL-TIME SCHOOL NURSE - MOTHER TERESA REGIONAL CATHOLIC SCHOOL - KING OF PRUSSIA, PA
About the role
Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School is seeking a compassionate, dependable and organized Part/Full-Time School Nurse to care for the health and well-being of our students in a warm, faith-filled PK–8 school community. This position is ideal for a nurse looking for flexible daytime hours, a family-friendly schedule, or supplemental income while making a meaningful impact on children's lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and assess student illnesses and injuries.
- Administer medications according to physician orders and school policy.
- Maintain student health records and immunization compliance.
- Communicate with parents regarding student health concerns.
- Develop and monitor health plans for students with medical needs.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate appropriate care.
- Promote a healthy and safe school environment.
- Collaborate with faculty and administration to support student wellness.
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania RN or LPN license (RN preferred).
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Supportive of the mission and values of Catholic education.
Schedule
- Part-time
- School-day hours only
- No evenings, weekends, or holidays
- Follows the school calendar with summers and major holidays off
