Responsibilities
- Attention to Detail and Detail Oriented
- Meeting multiple hard deadlines each month and communicating with supervisors about meeting these deadlines.
- Computer usage – 100% of time
- Ability to discern the interconnectedness of information
- Follow manual or supervisors’ direction in completion of duties
- Ability to recognize "red flags" that lead to the need for further investigation
- Maintain an assigned caseload monthly
- Entry level position within the criminal justice system
- Ability to work independently and with limited supervision
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments
- Think critically, analyze information and search for data
- Familiar with Outlook
- Positive and helpful attitude to support the department and division as a whole
- Ability to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the Parole Board Support Services and the Parole Board
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
- No Experience Required
- Current or prior Department of Corrections experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- Current or prior military experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Qualifications
- Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Preferred Kentucky Offender Management System database knowledge, but willing to train.
- Ability to work independently and with limited supervision
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
