PARKS MAINTENANCE WORKER III

About the role

The City of Little Rock seeks an individual to operate grounds maintenance equipment and perform maintenance activities at Parks and Recreation Department facilities. This position is designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate grounds maintenance equipment
• Perform maintenance activities at Parks and Recreation Department facilities

Requirements

• Valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment
• Valid Arkansas Class B (Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License within ninety (90) days of employment
• Completion of eighth (8th) grade or higher
• One (1) year of experience in landscaping, golf course or grounds maintenance
• One (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience

Qualifications

• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

• Must have the ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment
