About the Role
Impark is seeking a Parking Supervisor to oversee small groups of staff and work outdoors at Citi Field, located at 12301 Roosevelt Ave. The role involves varying shifts from Sunday to Saturday, with an hourly pay of $20. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain revenue procedures, and manage daily paperwork. They must be able to remain outside for extended periods and rotate between parking booths. Availability to work the majority of NYM home games, US Open Tennis, and additional special events is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide great customer service to guests and staff members.
- Ensure smooth operation of assigned gates, lanes, and lots.
- Verify and confirm all required signage is in place and clean at the start of each shift.
- Confirm cashier lane counter start readings and ensure they are recorded on shift reports.
- Ensure cashiers log off handheld devices and print closeout reports.
- Supervise cashiers to ensure they perform according to established standards.
- Ensure traffic directors follow established patterns and provide customer service.
- Handle equipment malfunctions and close lanes if necessary.
- Sign off on entries without tickets and confirm credential logs.
- Proactively address customer service issues with minimal impact on traffic flow.
- Ensure all personnel use communication devices as per policy.
- Communicate important issues to management or the command post.
- Ensure water coolers are filled and properly sealed.
- Bring employee concerns to management’s attention.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to verbally communicate with guests.
- Quick learner with sound decision-making skills for fast-paced environments.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Basic math skills.
- Experience with cash handling is an asset.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
