Parking Lot Attendant

Part-time, non-exempt position under the direction of the Parking Lot Supervisor.

About the role

The Parking Lot Attendant provides customer service to guests as they park at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and collects proceeds for parking.
• Assists in directing traffic, as needed.
• Helps guests with general information on where to enter events.
• Answers event-related questions.
• Has a general knowledge of the building and participates in all emergency procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Available to work events during the day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• General cash handling skills to balance proceeds.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to stand for 4-5 hours at a time and lift up to 20 lbs.

Working Conditions

• Works outside in all types of weather, often standing for extended periods.
• Frequent contact with employees and guests of the Coliseum.

Schedule

Hours vary; nights, weekends, and holidays required.
