Parking Enforcement Supervisor
About the role
Investigate and resolve citizen complaints; review vehicle impound procedures and reports, and recommend appropriate action; prepare written responses to route slips; assign and evaluate the work of subordinates; train subordinates on the issuance of parking citations; schedule the work of subordinates; operate a personal computer to access citations and other information; review accidents and on-the-job injuries of City employees; attend review board meetings; and perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Enter and exit a three-wheeled vehicle
- Bend, squat, reach, and twist
- Maneuver around, between, and inside a vehicle
- Supervise staff and perform patrol duties during inclement weather
Requirements
- One year of full-time experience at a level equivalent to a Parking Enforcement Officer II with the City of San Diego
- Three years of full-time experience at a level equivalent to a Parking Enforcement Officer I with the City of San Diego
Qualifications
- A valid California Class C Driver's License is required at the time of hire

Schedule
Parking Enforcement Supervisor employees are required to work weekends, holidays, and/or a 4/10 schedule. They may also be required to work varied days or shift work, holidays, and/or weekends, for which they may receive additional pay.
