Duties
- Patrol assigned areas
- Issue citations for parking violations
- Provide information to the public regarding parking regulations
- Enforce all parking laws outlined in the Fredericksburg City Code
- Respond to and investigate parking-related complaints
- Testify in court for contested parking tickets
- Operate the AutoChalk parking enforcement system
- Tow vehicles when necessary due to parking violations
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of related experience or training
- Or equivalent education, and/or experience
- A valid Virginia driver’s license
