Parking Enforcement Officer 42195

Responsibilities

• Maintains public compliance with existing parking ordinances.
• Writes warnings and citations for illegally or improperly parked vehicles.
• Observes and reports hazardous conditions such as missing traffic signals or signs, and street markings that need to be repainted.
• Responds to and resolves abandoned vehicle issues.
• Set-up and remove barricades and temporary signs.
• Conducts security checks of parking facilities.
• Trains new or temporary staff in the technical aspects of the PEO position.
• Maintains and cares for all company issued equipment.

Requirements

• The ability to have a flexible schedule.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 19 years old.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

They have the ability to anticipate a customer's needs and present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Legible handwriting, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills are also required.
