Job Title: Parking Attendant Part-time Department: Parking and Transportation Reports To: Parking Supervisor(s) Pay Rate: $26.39/ Hour Summary As a Parking Attendant, you will help create a safe and welcoming experience for guests accessing our parking facilities. The ideal candidate for this role must have strong leadership and communication skills. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for extra hours during peak season. This position is event based; therefore, you will be scheduled to meet the demands of our Lumen Field Event Calendar. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Greet and assist customers with parking inquiries, provide directions to available spaces, as well as address concerns or complaints in a professional mannerManage point of sale transactions via credit/debit cards accurately and efficiently process event-day parking passesDirect traffic in and out of the garage and surface lot to ensure a smooth, safe and efficient flow of vehiclesRegularly monitor traffic flowMake regular rounds throughout the parking facility to ensure parking facilities meet safety and cleanliness protocolsRegularly check parking equipment and gates to ensure everything is functioning properly. Report any malfunctions to supervisor for prompt repairEnsure guests park in designated parking locations onlyProvide guidance, ensuring compliance with parking rules and regulations EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
