Parking Attendant

POSITION SUMMARY

Legacy Parking is looking to add a Parking Attendant to one of our locations in Coral Gables!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Survey the garage while issuing citations/warnings to unauthorized parkers; perform vehicle counts, when required, to ensure the garage does not over fill available spaces.
2. Greet arriving and departing customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
3. Act as traffic controller to direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
4. Aid guests in operating pay machines.
5. Control traffic at entrances and exits, as needed.
6. Provide assistance to customers who may have forgotten where they parked.
7. Use respectful communication to assist guests with questions, problems, or concerns.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company’s maintenance checklists.
• Other special projects as assigned by location management.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and comprehend verbal instructions and written correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.
• Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and parking customers.
• Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner.

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED

• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

• While performing the duties associated with this position, the employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk, and hear.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs.
• Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.

Legacy Parking is a facilities services company seeking a Parking Attendant to join their team in Coral Gables, Florida.
