Patrol and Enforcement
- Enforce campus parking rules and regulations using LPR technology.
- Document and maintain records for parking lot and structure fill rates and population counts.
- Prepare files for parking lot and structure conditions, reporting damages or other issues as needed.
- Handle parking complaints and arrange for tow and impound of vehicles.
- Boot vehicles for violating University Parking Rules and Regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Communicate between dispatch office and other ambassadors to efficiently complete tasks.
Technology and Equipment
- Operate two-way radios.
- Use touch screen tablets.
- Use mobile printers.
- Use License plate recognition software.
Customer Service and Communication
- Act as a point of contact for the enforcement team, explaining regulations and expectations to customers.
- Communicate between dispatch office and other ambassadors to efficiently complete tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver’s license and proficient driving skills.
- Proficient in operating a personal computer and related software.
- Good time management, oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and move 35+ lbs. on occasion.
- Able to work in all weather conditions.
