About the role

The Parking Ambassador performs a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of a parking facility, while delivering a service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. Professionalism, mutual respect, and a sense of humor are traits we value and exhibit.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service, including helping customers with entry/exit transactions
• Ensure parking equipment is in operating condition
• Direct traffic to appropriate parking areas
• Perform vehicle counts on location throughout shift to ensure parking does not overfill available spaces
• Charge customers for parking as directed by the supervisor
• Screen parking lots for permits
• Supply exceptional customer service to all customers
• Use hand signals and lights to direct patrons into open spots
• Immediately report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to the Supervisor
• Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spots

Requirements

• Must be dependable
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to follow verbal/written directions
• Ability to show up to work on time and on the required days
