About the role
Our Park Services team helps the park sparkle! You’re constantly on the move, leaving your shine behind as you bounce from place to place. Every day is a fresh experience as you interact with our guests and keep everything looking great. From sweeping the streets to refreshing the restrooms and greeting the guests, you’ll be right in the center of the action and help keep everything in immaculate shape.
Responsibilities
- Removing trash, cigarette butts, debris, and graffiti, both behind the scenes and in guests’ view to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Sweeping park streets, walkways, and attraction areas with broom and dustpan while continuously walking your assigned section
- Hosing down back areas and patios when necessary
- Wiping down all trash receptacles, tabletops, and counters in assigned section
- Giving guest directions if needed and answering questions
- Removing and replacing partially filled liners inside trash receptacles
- Transporting trash from trashcans to the park compactor areas and separating materials to adhere to park recycling rules
- Preparing restrooms for park opening each day
- Cleaning up bio spills using appropriate materials
- Enforcing all Six Flags policies
- Assisting in other areas of the Park Services department
- Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- 4 full days of availability during summer operations with closing hours (3:30 PM - 11 PM) preferred
- Ability to work a flexible shift including nights, weekends, and most holidays
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to communicate effectively, including reading, writing, and speaking
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun protection
- Ability to complete tasks with little supervision and work independently
- Can handle multiple tasks at once with efficient use of time
Schedule
Closing shift (3:30 PM - 11 PM) with preference for 4 full days of availability during summer operations.
