Park Maintenance Part-Time Positions

About the role

The City of Blue Ash Park Maintenance Department seeks seasonal and year-round part-time positions to maintain their beautiful public spaces for the Fall Season. Positions include Landscape & Floral Focus, General Park Maintenance Focus, and Turf/Ball Field Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Planting, mulching, weeding, pruning, fertilizing, and overall care for planting beds, pots, and planters throughout the City.
• Maintaining park amenities such as hard surfaces, seating, plazas, and common areas.
• Maintaining the Blue Ash Sports Center, including turf and ball field maintenance.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and complete tasks within prescribed standards.
• Ability to work outdoors under different weather conditions for extended periods.
• Ability to stand and/or walk up to 6+ hours during a shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to add to a cohesive and supportive team environment.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude in a beautiful park setting.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to operate various landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers (some positions).
