About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the cleanliness and beauty of park facilities, ensuring public safety, and promoting community engagement through various activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain parks and recreational areas in accordance with established standards and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and cleaning.
- Respond to emergency situations and assist with first aid as needed.
- Participate in community events and programs to promote park usage and community involvement.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of related experience in park maintenance or similar field.
- Experience with landscaping tools and equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
