Parcel Packer

About the Role

The Parcel Packer supports warehouse operations by ensuring accurate monitoring and packing of parcel shipments for product distribution.

Responsibilities

• Check and verify parcels to ensure correct items are shipped
• Monitor and document parcel information using designated software
• Communicate with the Parcel Lead to resolve discrepancies
• Organize workspace for safety and efficiency
• Perform safety procedures and maintain departmental standards
• Conduct 5S walks and support continuous improvement
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-6 months experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand safety and quality instructions in English
• Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Physical ability to stand/sit for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical movements such as bending and reaching

Working Conditions

Must work in a manufacturing environment around machinery and heavy equipment, with exposure to varying temperatures. Candidates should be comfortable wearing safety gear and working extended hours, including weekends if necessary. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
