Paratransit Operations Manager

About the role

The Paratransit Operations Manager position is available for immediate hire. This role reports to the Director of Operations and is exempt from FLSA status.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage on-time performance and driver availability.
• Effectively manage dispatch staff and dispatch supervisors.
• Effectively manage customer relations through both direct contact and client requests.
• Identify, select, train and mentor location staff.
• Effectively and frequently communicate with location staff and support team members.
• Aid in overseeing safety processes to ensure compliance with company, contract, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain the safety culture of the division.
• Maintain client contact routinely to meet or exceed expectations.
• Aid in conducting periodic departmental audits.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly review of key operational metrics.
• Implement, promote, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Participate in location labor and employee relations activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have one to three years of management experience in a similar-sized paratransit environment.
• The ideal candidate should have experience in scheduling and personnel management and training.
• Must be able to work independently and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of contractual obligations is essential to perform this job correctly.
• Experience managing a fast-paced environment is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimal qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a valid driver's license. A commercial driver's license (CDL) is also required. All Transit is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all non-public personal information regarding applicants and employees.

Pay

The starting annual salary for this position is $80,000.
