About the role

Tindley Summit Academy is currently recruiting for the position of 1on1 Paraprofessional Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This role supports the academic and social-emotional growth of students through various programs.

Responsibilities

• Support students in achieving academic goals through individualized instruction and interventions.
• Assist in classroom management and provide one-on-one attention to students.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to ensure the best learning environment for students.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College transcripts showing 2 years of study.
• Para Pro Exam with a passing score of 460 or higher.
• Licensed to teach in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary-aged students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for supporting students in their academic journey.
