Summary
In all educational settings, support students progress in achieving IEP goals in accordance with department and district standards. Assist teacher in implementing IEP goals for high needs students.
Responsibilities

- Implement IEP goals under teacher supervision
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Valid Texas teaching certificate or ability to obtain within six months
- Passing score on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR)
Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
