Hourly Rate
$18.00 per hour (2025/26 school year)
Required Certification(s)
- Must be a highly-qualified paraprofessional under the provisions of ESSA and ORC 3319.074
- Must evidence one of the following requirements:
- Achieve an Associate of Arts Degree or higher (official transcripts required)
- Complete two years of college totaling 48 or more semester hours (official transcripts required)
- Obtain a passing score of 456 or higher on the ParaPro Assessment (copy of ParaPro Assessment results required)
Additional Requirements
- Must have or be able to obtain an Educational Aid Permit through the Ohio Department of Education
