About the Role

Assists regular and/or special education teachers in achieving students' educational goals and maintaining a safe, comfortable learning environment. Provides instructional support and assistance to meet students' needs, under the direction and immediate supervision of a licensed school professional. Services provided vary based on Individual Education Plans (IEP) and requirements to provide services in the least restrictive environment.

The location of the assignment may vary each year depending on the needs of the district and students, as defined by the Special Education Director.
