Paraprofessional (Para)

About the role

We are seeking a Paraprofessional (Para) to transition into a Behavior Technician (BT) role. Your experience working with students—supporting behavioral, social, communication, or academic needs—provides a strong foundation for success in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We provide the training and support needed to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT); no prior RBT certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Work one‑on‑one with children to build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Celebrate meaningful progress and make a lasting impact on the lives of children and their families.

Qualifications

• Experience as a paraprofessional or similar role supporting students with behavioral, social, communication, or academic needs.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, encourage independence, and help children achieve goals.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification; no prior certification required.
