PARAPROFESSIONAL, KINDERGARTEN
About the role
Assists with student instruction in designated subject areas (e.g., reading, writing, math, science, social studies) and provides care and discipline of Kindergarten students as directed by the classroom teacher.
Responsibilities
- Presents subject matter to students under the direction and guidance of teachers, which may include computer-based instruction, discussions, or supervised role-playing methods.
- Assists individuals and small student groups and reinforces learning concepts presented by teachers.
- Provides student performance evaluation and planning assistance, providing feedback to the student and teacher.
- Communicates and coordinates with educational staff, students, and parents about routine education issues.
- Supervises students at assigned sites and reinforces positive student behaviors and student related administration policies and rules.
- Discusses and coordinates instructional efforts with teachers and educational staff.
- Aids in the preparation and setting up of educational materials.
- Aids in the provision of child's basic needs (e.g., dressing, personal hygiene).
Requirements
You must have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position. Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.

The salary listed reflects the 2025–2026 school year. Salaries for the 2026–2027 school year are typically finalized and released mid-summer, with an effective date of August 1. Pay
New hires will be set at $21.787 per hour. The salary range for internal candidates is $21.787 to $26.123 per hour.
