Paraprofessional I (RSP) - Nile Garden School/Walter Woodward School, 5 hrs./day

About the role

Under the direction of the assigned administrator and under the general supervision of teacher and/or other certificated employee, provides instructional/behavioral support to students in accomplishing learning objectives. Performs other related duties as assigned. Number of openings at the time of posting: One (1) or more.

Qualifications

• Resume
• One (1) Professional Letter of Recommendation
• One of the following:
  • Proof of AA or BA Degree from a regionally accredited college, 48 Semester units
  • Certificate showing successful completion of a basic Paraprofessional proficiency test
• Minimum Qualifications – Education And/Or Training:
  • High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or Equivalent
  • AND Forty‑eight (48) semester units or Associate Degree or higher or pass proficiency requirements established by the District
• Desirable Experience: Experience working in schools or experience working with school‑age children.
• Pre‑employment Requirements (at employee cost if hired):
  • TB Clearance
  • Fingerprinting
• Preference will be given to inside candidates.
• If selected, you will be required to provide proof of completion of high school or an equivalent program.
